model style research (punk)

When thinking of bright colours and a stand out style, one thing comes into my mind which is Punk! I had a look into some various punk images to see if there is anything that would work well with our project. Punk is a very outrageous style that stands out which could work really well for our final idea. When people think of punk they often think of anarchy and rebellion, both are a complete contrast to what the British currency is all about, which is why the idea could work so well.

I like this picture as it is very British and has a clear punk style to it. The mohawk is one of the many eye catching traits a punk has. It is very rebellious and shows individual personality, which i think would be a good trait to have in our final pictures.

The anarchy sign is very commonly used in punk style, it is rebellious and it represents everything a punk is. If you saw this symbol anywhere you would instantly know what it stood for.

I like all of the metal objects spread around this picture, I think it could create a really good affect by incorporating safety pins and other metal objects into our images. Also the sex pistols are a very iconic punk group which would be really good to look at for further inspiration.

The bright colours in this picture and the style of the hair both help to create a scene. This helps to set a scene which shows character and personality which are both good traits to have in our final pieces.

This picture still shows style and personality even though it is very different to the previous image. I really like the black and white contrast along with the red heart which catches the viewers eye.

This picture shows a blatant disrespect for authority. As well as changing the Queen image in our final pictures we could edit other bits of the note using scribbles as a way of bringing further rebellion to the image.

These punk scribbles would be good to take inspiration from if we go this way when we make our final images. For example the writing style could be used to replace the notes regular font and there are some good ideas for scribbles etc. here.
